Double Digits

My Noah is 10 months now! 

He turned 10 months last Saturday and I am just now getting around to posting this, November has been NONSTOP as the rest of the year has been thus far. 

 Silly little baby is not so little anymore.  You name it he is doing it, he mimicks everything we do and cracks us up.  He still fits in an infant carrier however due to length (he was 28" at 9 month wellness visit) we are going to start looking at another booster for Nicho so he can move into brother's Britax but still have it rear facing of course.  He is not walking yet but he stands alone all the time and is always climbing on everything! 

Nicho is noticing all the changes and gets excited when Noah is standing and says "Look mommy! Noah is standing like me!"

Yes, Nicho is now realizing Noah will NOT stay a baby forever and eventually be is partner in crime.  I can tell he is thrilled about having a playmate.

He and Nicho always smile at each other first thing in the morning when they see each other and have "talks" in the car, it's my favorite part of the day with them. 

Things that my Bubba is doing:

• Sleeping and eating more
• Favorite new foods are: pot roast with carrots and potatoes, mommy's spaghetti, enchiladas, rice and refried beans.  The boy can EAT and he eats ANYTHING and everything we eat!!!!
• He has two teeth on the bottom and one on top
• Loves to rock himself in the infant carrier (moving into the big boy carseat SOON)
•  Loves to dance, he waves his arm in the air and rocks back and forth, hilarious!!
• does NOT like dirty diapers, he will let you know when he has a "stinky"
• standing alone
• claps, waves hello and goodbye
• loves to look at books
• he can throw a ball far, he has a good arm like brother-future baseball players!!
• climbs,climbs,climbs!!
• says "dada" ALL the time, "mooommm" only a few times, "uh-oh" ALL the time, should I be worried?

Baby boy we love you so much and look forward to your upcoming birthday!!   Here are a few pictures of my peanut (what I could get!) 

 Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and I am sure Noah will just love the Turkey, dressing, sweet potatoes, etc,etc, etc...he will probably look like a turkey when he is done!!

Cold Morning

My mother-in-law was feeling a little under the weather yesterday and today so John and I have taken turns and stayed home with the kiddos.  John stayed with them yesterday and I stayed with them today.  Noah woke up at 5:30 for a bottle but to my surprise went back to sleep which I didn't mind because I did too.  We all woke up at 8 and it was great weather to sleep in!   I don't mind the cold but cold+wet weather=yuck ,but that didn't keep us home.  We headed to the gym this morning since I remembered it was a breakfast club day at the child watch.  Breakfast club is a cooking class for kids.  I thought it would be fun for Nicho to go and I found a spin class that worked right into that time slot so it was perfect!  After the gym we went to get kolaches and a donut, that's right I let Nicho have a donut-his second donut ever in his life.  I thought it was a special morning since I was able to hang out with them without any of US being sick.  And yes I did eat some too :x 

I am going to have to go to CSI class tonight and Kickboxing tomorrow to make up for it!!

I did manage to eat 2 candy corns because that is my all time favorite fall candy.

Poor Turkey is all gone, Nicho picked and ate off of it...and so did mommy!

"Wee"

This post is really for my mom.  In the car Nicho has started saying "Wee" all the time.  I have learned to tune him out.  My mom was in the car with us the other day and Nicho started saying "wee" again and she started laughing.  She told me he reminded her of the pig on the Geico insurance commercial.  Since I don't watch daytime TV and had not seen the commercial on any of my DVR'd shows I had not seen it so I didn't know what she was talking about.  After hearing Nicho weeing in the car more and more the last few days I decided to google it and found it.  I couldn't stop laughing, watch it here.

Now I just need to buy him some pinwheels...

Birthday Party

Today Nicho didn't have any school because it was a Teacher workday.  Since there was no school one of his good friends and classmates, Alicia, had a birthday during the school time slot-brilliant idea on the parent's part.

  I took a half day off work and took him to the party.  It was at a bounce house and just about all the kids in his class made it. 

 I forgot my camera so I just used my phone camera.

Roller Coaster Beads

Noah has been playing like a toddler these days.  He loves pushing trucks and he has now discovered the roller coaster beads.  He loves them!!
