It was such a beautiful day today, we met our friends the P's at Kiddie Acres with the kiddos. Here are a few pictures of our fun visit.

Easter turned out to be a beautiful day. We had our egg hunt at my sister-in-law's parent's house so all of the grandchildren could hunt eggs together. Her parents are super sweet and they get along well with both my mom and step dad so combining of holidays is not a big deal and the fact that they both live in the same town is a plus. John and I headed back to Austin after the egg hunt to have Easter dinner with his parents. Nicho slept the entire drive back, hunting eggs was exhausting :) He was refreshed and ready to play again when we stopped at Grandpa Albert and Grandma Olga's house. He loves to jump on the trampoline at their house and playing with their little weiner dog "chucha". We were exhausted when we finally got home but glad we were able to spend Easter with people we love.

We went to Palacios for Easter weekend. Jeremiah and Elise also visited so it was extra fun to spend time with them. Here are some fun pictures from our Saturday afternoon.

Yesterday we got our spring school pictures back. I was looking at all of his school pictures that he has taken and in complete awe of how much he has changed. His little baby features are slowly going away right before my very brown eyes :( Notice that we are missing last spring picture where he would have been 9 months old. Funny story about that, I didn't know we were having pictures taken that day and he was wearing a turtle neck because it was cold that morning. I didn't want his spring picture taken in a turtle neck...um yea I was a very "anal" first time parent and I apologize to my mother and John many times for putting up with me the first year. I am much better now. I do have to admit that he does look very much like the hubby...but he does have my eyes :)

This afternoon this is what Nicho wore. He had his teacher tie it in a knot and he looked so funny. He got mad when it was time to go outside and he had to take it off.

Last Sunday after the Capitol 10k we met my brother and sister-in-law at Sam's. We just love how our kiddos are both the same age, I love you Elise and Jeremiah too!!
