This year we spent Christmas Eve in Palacios. My family decided this year that we all MUST spend time together since we had not done in a while. They rented the local Hall so that we could all have plenty of space to mingle and eat. It was so nice because over the years we have slowly strayed away and spend time with other extended families and in other cities but not this year!! I'm hoping we can continue this tradition. Looking forward to next year!!

Dentist Check-up
Today was Nicho's 6 month check up, he had a great report. He has been such a sweet brother lately, today he made sure to pick an extra prize out of the treasure box for Noah AND he also asked for an extra toothbrush for Noah too! Such a sweet Bubba :)

Snow, Santa, Trains, Gingerbread and Lights! Oh My!!
I have been so busy and "off" due to obvious reasons that I have not planned as many Christmas adventures as I normally have done in the past. I absolutely love Christmas. It is my favorite Holiday along with Halloween. So, today I decided to make up for it. Our first stop was pictures with Santa which by the way I have ALWAYS done in November since Nicho was a baby! I could not believe I had not crossed this off my list already. So off to the Galleria we went.
Pictures with Santa
Noah was a little unsure..
Nicho was so excited to tell Santa what he wanted, Noah on the other hand could care less.
While we were getting Santa pictures done, the Galleria had a Snow Day!!
After Santa pictures and snow fun we went to see the model Train displays downtown.
Noah loves trains as well as big brother.
Trying to capture a shot of the kids with John.
Since we were already downtown, we stopped at the Four Seasons to look at the Gingerbread House display, isn't this tree gorgeous??
That is all icing and gingerbread!!!
This is a cute reindeer!!
Yummy!!!
Nicho with cousins Sophia and Justin
Later on we headed out to Wimberley for the Trail of Lights.
The boys on the train...
trying to get a picture of us together....
This was a cute breast cancer awareness display, all pink lights!
Nicho was so lucky, he got to see Santa twice in one day!!
Playing the gianormous xylophone
This was a beautiful Cinderella like carriage all lit up :)
Yummy s'mores and hot chocolate were had at the bonfire.
We love coming out to Wimberley, we plan on it next year again!!
We literally were all over Austin today but had so much fun!

My Christmas List
Who is that "Sneaky-sneaky" in the background?? :)
Nicho wants Noah on the naughty list for many reasons...too many to list on here... :)
But for the record, shortly after this picture was taken Noah was pouting in the kitchen because he wanted candy for breakfast and was told "no"

Rejoice!
Nicho had his Preschool Christmas Program today. The children had Chapel and sang beautiful Christmas songs. When they all walked into the Church, they each carried a new stuffed animal. The children's stuffed animals will be taken and donated to Dell Children's Hospital in honor of one little boy who's last Christmas wish was for all of the little boys and girls at the Hospital to have a gift for Christmas. It was very touching to hear his story.

My Nicho Bear
I feel so blessed to have found this school. I was meant to have my children here this year. We loved our time at our previous school, but there is something about a Christian school that makes you feel so warm and loved. This community has done so much for our family especially after they learned of my sickness. I don't even know half of the parents in my kiddos classes but they all made dinner/gave us gift cards for dinner and even put a craft basket together for the kids. So when the kiddos are with my mom, mother-in-law, husband, or a friend when I start my treatment they can just pull out a craft to keep the boys busy.
I am extremely blessed.
