Today we went to the Annual Fundraiser and Spring Celebration at Nicho's school. They had a silent auction, food, and fun activities for the kids to kick off Week of The Young Child. Nicho was so excited to see Ms. Meena and wanted to stay longer when it was time for us to leave. We were able to spend some time in Nicho's classroom and look around at the fun learning centers.
Ms. Meena always has fun new things displayed each week.
There was an area set up where they had a background for pictures along with dress-up clothes. A few UT students volunteered at the celebration and took pictures and printed them out for everyone. Nicho dressed me in a construction hat and put tons of beads around my neck (picture to be posted later, lol). After the picture, Nicho went to play on the playground and get his face painted by another student while John and I chatted with his teacher who we just LOVE and will miss after his school year is over in a few short weeks :( We also went to look and bid on some baskets while Nicho played.

What a WONDERFUL school year!! I love everything about this school!! We feel very fortunate that Nicho had the opportunity this year to experience it and meet new friends and have a super teacher!
So glad y'all had a great year. It is so great when you find a school that just fits like a favorite pair of jeans.
