Splish Splash
Noah has been a kicker since inside my belly. He was making me laugh yesterday when I was giving him a bath because he would not stop kicking and making a big splash. I had John grab a little swimmer so that I could video him in the bath tub (and he wouldn't show his "stuff")
Noah Is Getting So Big
This weekend I FINALLY had the courage to move Noah from his bassinet into his crib ( I only woke up 4 times last night to check on him). I know, I know but I just couldn't stand moving him out of our room and out of the bassinet :( Well, after hearing him the last couple of nights move around in the bassinet trying to get comfortable, I decided it was time. Our baby boy has been small and in the last few weeks has just grown so much. I started letting him nap in his crib about 2 weeks ago during the day but still had him in the bassinet at night. He has been in his crib two nights now and is sleeping SO comfortable. I am sad that I will be putting away his bassinet and probably giving it away...not just yet but soon in the next few months because Noah will be our last baby.
My Sleepy Angel
2010 ROT Rally Parade
Yes, the loud bikes are in town this weekend...they are EVERYWHERE. We live off a major highway and that is all I have been hearing the last two days. Thursday night I went out to the movies with some friends and John really wanted to see the bikes SO as a compromise we went to the parade the next night. We left Noah with the Grandparents and headed out downtown with Nicho to see the bikes. Nicho LOVED the parade. When it was over we came back home because it was all I could take.
There were some really neato bikes and interesting people :)

Noah Boa Laughing At Silly Momo
My mom visited for a few days last week and as usual she was being silly and making Noah laugh even if it was "swatting" a newspaper at Noah to get his attention. He thought it was funny!

It was a rainy day...
so we went to hop hop hop some energy off!
Nicho was funny and was trying to make the ball go through the circle "window" in which he did succeed!!
going through a tunnel
then it was off to shop in the grocery store
grabbing a basket...should I get a cart too?
I'll grab both since I have all these fruits and veggies.
Before we left he spotted the air hockey table
What a fun surprise for bear!
Ms. "Sissa"
Ms. Alyssa, also known as Ms. Sissa according to Nicho, has been Nicho's teacher for the last 3 years. She has been a very important part of Nicho's life and I am grateful for everything she has taught him. The very first time Nicho and Ms. Alyssa met, I knew they would be buddies. In fact Nicho and Ms. Alyssa share the same birthday! He has learned so much with her and was always happy to be at school. Even now that school is out he still asks about Ms. Sissa. Next year will be so different because she will no longer be his teacher. He will be in the 3 year old classroom...what? I am still having a hard time comprehending that he is THREE! It's bittersweet though, I LOVE all that he can do on his own and no longer needs my help for pretty much anything. It does make it real easy especially since Noah is so little and needs lots of attention.
Well as most people know Ms. Alyssa is a very crafty person and VERY creative. This year for the children's end of the year gift from her, she made all seven of her kiddos scrap books. And these are not no slap a couple of pictures on a page and move on to the next, all 20 of these pages have lots of love and time spent on them. I love this book and I will treasure this book forever. One day Nicho will look at this book (also the beautiful CD of pictures to music she made him last year) and be able to remember the fun times he had with his LTE friends (hopefully they will all keep in touch) and hopefully mommy will continue to stay in touch with Ms. Alyssa.
The book
I added his class picture to the front page
The two's were known as the "monkeys"
Here are a few of my favorite pages...fun times at the Halloween party and Thanksgiving feast.
Play page
Science page
Art page
This a letter she wrote to him along with some of his baby pictures, it is the very last page in the book.
Nicho and Ms. Alyssa on the first day of school.
I wish I would have thought about snapping a picture of him with her on the last day. Thank you Ms. Alyssa for everything (you have even taught me some creative ideas). Nicho loves you!
