Now that Nicho is out of school for the winter break we have playdates scheduled twice a week that each family hosts (our turn is in a few weeks).
Today we had a Gingerbread House playdate at
Gorgeous Millie.
Gorgeous Millie.
JC, the mom who hosted this playdate, ordered the houses from the same bakery that the Austin Children's Museum uses for their Gingerbread house making.
I just love this place, it is super cute! Of course Noah had a blast roaming around while Nicho and I attempted to make the house. Nicho was too excited about seeing his friends that he only finished one side of the roof, so we ended up bringing our candy tray home along with our unfinished house so we can finish it.
My Boa decided that he wanted to take his first step while we were at the playdate!
Noah pushing the car, he has been doing this for over a month now...
But he would rather crawl to get to places faster!
Playing with a car, he loves cars and even makes the "vroom" sound as he pushes it. It is so precious!
trying out the legos...
and then later on just as mommy looked up from a conversation with another mom, he was standing by himself in the middle of the room! He didn't use anything to help him pull up! Then as I quickly grabbed for my camera to take this he took one step as I snapped the camera...then went plop back down on the ground :)
After all that excitement, Nicho started his gingerbread house on his own...
doing good so far...surprisingly he didn't eat the candy while making this...
then he was over it and ready to play.
He and his buddy Max.
He found an alphabet interactive game that he would not put down.
Then baby brother spotted him...
Inside the house with some friends...
still playing with the game...
After this he noticed the candy and went on a sugar spree. I guess it was a good thing he FINALLY decided to eat the candy when the playdate was just about over and it was time to go home :)

Fun!!!!
