Yesterday we headed for the coast after my workshop to surprise my mom. Her birthday was last week and my brothers planned a small get together. We knew she would just love for all of us to be together since it has been awhile since we were all together at one spot. We had brisket and twice baked potatoes and there was a ton of cake.
This was Noah's first time meeting some of my extended family as well. Of course we had to visit the Bay before we headed back to Austin. It is so peaceful. I keep joking about wanting to move back, but John doesn't believe me :) There is just something about a small town that sounds sooo wonderful.
