Happy Birthday Daddy!! Mommy and I love you!!
When Nicho and I got back from our little trip yesterday we surprised the daddy with a sunset/bat watching cruise on Lady Bird Lake! We celebrated last night even though today was his actual birthday because of all the 4th of July festivities. We asked the daddy where he wanted to eat dinner before the cruise and of course he said "Iron Cactus on 6th street" That is his favorite eating spot. Nicho did great at dinner, usually John and I are scared to take him out to eat in public because we usually 1) get food thrown at us. 2) get food thrown at the waiter or waitress. 3) get food thrown on the floor and finally 4) screaming, screaming, and more screaming. He did AWESOME!! He really hit it off with our waiter and everytime he came by to check on us Nicho would talk to him. One time when he came by our table to ask if we needed anything Nicho picked up his lemonade and said "all done" handing it to him. John and I couldn't stop laughing. Of course we reminded him to use his manners and say "please." The waiter laughed and refilled his lemonade and then talked to us about his nephew who is the same age as Nicho.
We had a fun night and we were all tired after the cruise. Of course we made one last stop on the way home, Sandy's. The daddy was craving a milkshake.
